The Savoy Hotel Buenos Aires was built in 1910 Neo-Baroque style by the architect G. Agostini, this four-star property, which is part of the WorldHotels Deluxe Collection, has a stylish facade and elegant decor, with lots of art work all around.

The location couldn’t be better, just 200 metres from Congress Plaza, city centre and a five-minute walk to Ricoleta, with its beautiful palaces, parks and monuments.

It’s also only a half-hour ride to the famed, trendy and slick Palermo area with its diverse offering of bars and restaurants.

Renovated in 2010 in honor of the Savoy Hotel’s centenary, the 164 rooms including 14 suites are elegantly decorated with natural wood floors and warm colours. All rooms have soundproof windows and free wifi.

Standard rooms start at $100/night. It’s very large corner rooms cost double, but are worth it.

A buffet breakfast including hot dishes, a table of cold cuts and cheeses, and a glass of sparkling wine is served daily. Las Manzanas Restaurant offers Mediterranean and Argentinean dishes. Drinks and hot brews can be ordered at the Imperio lobby bar.

Alternatively, you can unwind in the stylish lounge decorated with columns and chandeliers.

Guest can make use of the fitness centre facilities, or request a relaxing massage.

The 24-front desk can help secure shuttles to Ministro Pistarini Airport, which is 30 kms away. Uber charges $25 for airport transfers.
